The Best Connection are seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 (Category CE) Drivers based in Essex. We have a fantastic opportunity for ongoing, full-time work with a respected and well-known client. Hours of work • Start times for this role will be 10 or 11am, with a minimum working time of 5 hours a day. • This role will require you to work a minimum of 40 hours per week ov r a 7 day period but you can expect a 5-day working week, so weekend work and flexibility is required. This role will benefit drivers looking for continuous work and is comfortable with early starts. • Overtime will be paid at time and half after 45 hours. Pay Rates • £19.27 Per Hour - £25.63 Per Hour RESPONSIBILITIES • Deliver of pallet goods to stores across England, with a maximum of 4 drops daily. • Adhere to planned routes / movement orders. • Collecting hub collection pallets to bring back to the depot for trunking. • Optimise loading and unloading times to ensure all work is completed. • Executing safe, efficient transport deliveries that minimise risk

The Best Connection are currently recruiting a Class 2 Hiab Driver for our busy client based in Beckton Duties include: Deliveries of items using Hiab from store to customer Following delivery notes and following orders for delivery Notifying store of issues/concerns with deliveries Taking due care and attention to meet customer expectations Follow road safety requirements Hours are 7am till finish - 8 hours minimum per day Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday Pay rate is £17.50 per hour Monday to Friday, £26.25 per hour on Saturdays if required To apply you must have: Valid driving licence - Cat C entitlement In date Hiab licence Up to date CPC and DIGI Clean licence or up to 6 points No DD/DR/IN on licence Immediate start available!!
