Electrical Training Instructor - Apprentices

At IPS International we take training seriously, which is why we are Ofsted grade 2 and Investor in People gold status. We deliver training in engineering manufacturing and maintenance for major companies in Kent and throughout the UK. We are looking for Electrical or Multi-Skilled Training Instructors who can be a full-time employee or part time to fit in with our training schedule. As part of our Engineering Apprenticeship training team you’ll be passing on your experience of industrial maintenance using our bespoke training programmes.

The Electrical Training Instructor should have very good experience of wiring and fault-finding three phase motors, starters, and electrical control circuits. Also, experience of commercial and factory premises and a working knowledge of PLC’s and some industrial electronics is an advantage.

Previous experience as a training instructor or NVQ Assessor or as a supervisor is an advantage. Training to become an NVQ assessor can be provided. It is essential that you are a good and confident communicator who likes working with people and can deliver practical skills training. When you deliver training, you need to know basics and you also need to know the Electricity at Work Act and the IEE electrical wiring regulations. You will need good computer skills able to work with both MS Word and Excel and Outlook 365 Email.
