Longfield Academy is seeking to appoint a Behaviour Support Mentor to join our highly successful academy. The role involves supporting all students in one of three Colleges, monitoring attendance, dealing with any behaviour issues that may arise and working with parents and other agencies to resolve situations successfully. The successful candidate will report directly to the College Leadership Team, working with identified students and implementing inclusive practices which enable the students to effectively access education. Our successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of safeguarding issues.

Please note that the working basis for this role is 37 hours per week during Term Time only, and is a fantastic role for those keen to progress in their career to become a teacher or continue venturing down a more pastoral route. What are we looking for in you? To be successful you need to passionate about maximising the potential of young people no matter what barriers there are to this.
