Machinist Fitter (Trainee considered)
Full Time Hours. Permanent position.
Salary negotiable (depending on experience) + production bonus (following successful probation period)

Experienced general engineering Machinist Fitter with a strong engineering background required although not necessarily a ‘time served’ skilled engineer.

Knowledge of general engineering disciplines such as use of general machine shop equipment is essential, especially centre lathe turning. Experience in the use of measuring equipment such as micrometer’s, vernier caliper’s, plug gauges etc. would also be preferred.

We are looking for a flexible, self-motivated individual who is reliable and able to work on their own as well as part of a team. There may also be the opportunity to progress further and extend knowledge. Training will be provided.

We will also consider a Trainee for this position for an individual with an interest in engineering. Experience or evidence of this would be preferred.

Hours of work: Monday – Thursday 7.30 am – 4.15 pm, Friday 7.30 am – 2.45 pm. 40 hours per week.
