Graduate Rowing Assistant

Starting September 2019; The King’s School, Canterbury, Kent (co-educational boarding & day secondary school with 826 pupils) is looking for a Graduate Rowing Assistant to assist the Head of Rowing in developing the King’s Junior and Senior School rowers, with an emphasis on providing an interesting and comprehensive introduction to the sport.
Reporting to the Head of Rowing, the successful applicant will be fully engaged in all levels of rowing at the King’s School.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Delivering training sessions to King’s Canterbury Boat Club Senior School development Squads
• Supporting the Head of Rowing at race venues when required
• Assisting with Boat Club administration
• Providing assistance to existing squad coaches
Applicants should hold, or be working towards, their UKCC Level 2 Qualification in Coaching.
Please note, due to a genuine occupational requirement applicants for this position will need to be female.
