Employability and enterprise are strategic priorities for Canterbury Christ Church University and the employability, research and enterprise service is key to delivering our vision to develop enterprising and professional graduates.

This post is within the Employability and Skills Team, which provides support for students and academic staff, working in collaboration with the wider team and other professional services, to maximise student employability and graduate success. The Team comprises a Head, three Employability and Skills Managers and two Employability and Skills Officers.

The Employability and Skills Team is currently working on a range of exciting new initiatives to embed employability, enterprise education and skills development within the curriculum and through a growing range of extra-curricular activities. The Employability and Skills Manager will lead on a range of university-wide employability, enterprise and work-related initiatives and support the implementation of a new curriculum Framework for Developing Enterprising, Professional Graduates across the university working with staff, students and other key stakeholders.

With a proven track record in project management, particularly in relation to skills development and curriculum design and delivery, and experience in piloting, evaluating and reporting on organisation-wide programmes, the successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and project management skills, a creative and consultative solutions-focused approach to problem solving, and will be able to work effectively within a small team using their own initiative and managing project deadlines with drive and enthusiasm.
