The Faculty wishes to appoint a chemistry technician to support its new Chemical Engineering and Chemistry courses.


The Role

The role holder will be involved in laboratory preparation for teaching and research, will maintain and provide technical instruction of equipment, ensure Health and Safety standards are promoted and maintained, and assist with the delivery of courses and research at North Holmes Road and Discovery Park.

You will have the opportunity to join a team of engineering educators and researchers at the start of the new School of Engineering, Technology and Design's journey and contribute to the development of a problem-based/CDIO curriculum which will produce work-ready graduates that can research and design inclusive engineering solutions for society's benefit.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the engineering provision being developed at the University and to work with a wide range of partners to transform engineering education in the region.
