DEMELZA PROVIDES SPECIALIST CARE AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH TERMINAL CONDITIONS AND THEIR LOVED ONES, ACROSS KENT, EAST SUSSEX AND SOUTH EAST LONDON.

We are looking for a weekend Assistant Housekeeper to join the Eltham team to deliver a high quality housekeeping service at our Residential Hospice.

We are looking for candidates to demonstrate:

· Knowledge of basic hygiene

· Recent experience in a housekeeping role

· The ability to work on your own initiative and undertake loan working

· A flexible approach to your work

· Excellent communication skills

· The ability to prioritise their work workload

· The ability to manage and effectively communicate with a team of volunteers

This role will be based at the South East London Hospice in Eltham and will involve working every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am to 1:00pm. This is a temporary contract for a period of up to 12 months to cover maternity leave.
