Maidstone Innovation Centre will be a truly dynamic and innovative location for, primarily, businesses in Medtech, LifeScience and Health. It will accommodate 270 jobs and contribute £120m in GVA to the local economy over it’s first 10 years. It is the most ambitious project the Council has undertaken with a high degree of scrutiny and interest in it’s success.

Maidstone Borough Council is seeking an Innovation Manager to manage the centre and the successful applicant will be expected to manage the Innovation Centre and staff to provide a welcoming, supportive and secure environment for businesses to grow and prosper. Overseeing the operation of the Innovation Centre, statutory facilities management responsibilities, ensuring leases are adhered to, challenging income targets and strict compliance to regulatory grant funding requirements.

The post is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund 2014-2020.



Anticipated Start Date: 31 May 2021
