The Role: As part of the Community Services team, you will play a key role in the overall management of local provision, with a particular focus on mental health housing related support services within the Live Well Kent mental health and wellbeing service. Housing support includes Porchlight’s Community Housing service, as well as a provider network delivering mental health supported accommodation.
You will be working collaboratively with the provider network to continuously improve and manage provision, as well as developing our own Community Housing service.
Performance management and ensuring quality services is central to the role, as is strong people management and service re-design experience. You will be skilled in influencing stakeholders, developing working partnerships and able to represent Porchlight to maintain and develop its strong reputation.
What you need:
Professional, housing, social care or management qualification, or a willingness to work towards this
Experience of leading a team to set and achieve service objectives and standards
At least three years of experience managing or supervising staff
Excellent communication and relationship skills with a range of stakeholders
Experience of managing a provider network or working as part of collaborative partnerships
Experience of managing quality assurance systems
Experience of shaping and implementing service re-designs
