We are recruiting an Asset Appraisal Manager to implement our proactive asset management approach, working with wider departments and stakeholders and recommending decisions regarding the future use of assets.



We are looking for someone who, supported by a team of asset appraisal officers, will collate up to date information on the performance condition of its assets, undertake detailed option appraisals in line with best practice, and determine the most effective option in terms of whole life value for money drafting reports for Clarion governance structures. Further duties include;-



* Develop, schedule and undertake a programme of investment appraisal to support the development of strategies and approaches that will improve the value and performance of the Clarion portfolio.
* Ensure detailed awareness of Clarion budgets and investment priorities, and ensure these are reflected in wider team objectives.
* Ensuring a comprehensive suite of policies, processes and procedures are in place reflecting all relevant statutory and regulatory requirement and best practice.
* Leading projects and programmes to improve the groups approach to proactive asset management.



You will need the demonstrable ability to undertake the necessary financial and qualitative analysis, appraisal and valuation in a housing context, along with the proven experience in the undertaking of options appraisals and the development of portfolio reviews and local improvement plans
