Permanent position

20 hours per week, Term-Time only* (38 weeks per year plus 5 days training totalling 39 weeks per year)
*You will be required to work up to a maximum of two weeks for the school’s short term break provision if required, for which an extra payment will be made.

Bradstow is a creative and unique residential school for children between the ages of 5 & 19 in Broadstairs. We seek to meet the needs of children and young people with autism and severe learning difficulties with associated behaviours that may be challenging. We have achieved national recognition for our developments in Communication and Behaviour Management.

The purpose of this role is to assist Cooks in provision of meals to pupils and staff.

We are looking for a member of staff to work in our lively kitchen Monday – Wednesday and Fridays from 8am – 1pm, term time only.

For all posts we look for candidates who are mature, warm and open to learning with a patient and caring attitude to deal sensitively with vulnerable children.

The selection process for this post will comprise of an interview and short literacy test.
