This team will play an integral role in supporting the Faculty of Education and in ensuring an environment for student success, through the timely delivery of administrative processes in a professional manner. All members of the team are required to focus on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery and continuously identifying areas that influence operational administration and will make appropriate recommendations for improvements.


The Role


The role provides high quality administrative support for a broad range of business support functions including processing procurement requests and other financial transactions, supporting colleagues with office moves, student number planning, staff recruitment, administering local induction plans, and maintaining supplies and other resources on behalf the professional support teams.



As part of the Operations Team, the role holder will work closely with other team members across Faculty Operations, Academic Administration and Quality, as well academic colleagues and staff from central directorates, to ensure we provide a range of responsive, dedicated services in meeting our stakeholder needs.



The Faculty based operations teams have a broad remit that reflect the individual business and operational requirements in each Faculty, including recruitment and events, resource planning, finance, enterprise, quality and other operational executive support functions.



The Person



The post holder will need GCSE A-C or equivalent in English with recent administrative/secretarial and minute taking experience. You will have worked in a busy office, be computer literate and have experience of MS Office, particularly word and excel packages.
