Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve is undoubtedly one of the UK’s hidden gems that really should be on everyone’s ‘must do that’ list. Spanning 600 acres of beautiful countryside, with stunning views, Port Lympne is the only wild animal park in Europe to offer unique short breaks, where guests can wake up surrounded by animals, go on safari, enjoy once in a lifetime animal encounters and most importantly be part of real conservation in action.

At Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve we a Short Breaks Sales Administrator to join our dedicated Sales team. In this role you will be dealing with phone and e-mail enquiries from existing and potential customers; passing on messages to the department staff; following up on booking enquires, inputting information into Opera and other systems as well as a wide range of general administration duties

Duties of the role will include:
• Performing data entry and general administration duties
• Representing the company at associated fairs
• Managing bookings and payments via online channels
• Responding to customer and employee enquiries, quickly and efficiently
• Responsible for all post in and out of the office
• Responding and recording enquiries, show rounds and bookings
• Show rounds of the venue
• Assisting events team members as necessary.

This role is a minimum of 24 hours per week, normally worked three days a week. Due to our remote location a reliable form of transport is advantageous.

The Person:
The Ideal candidate with have prior experience gained in a similar administrative role. You will have the ability to prioritise, make appropriate decisions under pressure and be able to juggle various tasks at once. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to people at all levels within the business is essential as we as being proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Previous experience of using Opera would be advantageous. All applicants must have right to work in the UK.
