Community Care Navigator - Wellbeing Matters

£18k to £21k (depending on experience)

Dartford, Kent

Imago

During this time of uncertainty during the Coronavirus pandemic, Imago is pleased to be in a position to recruit new staff. We are doing things a little differently with virtual interviews being held by the power of the internet, and a period of home working as we remotely provide services to some of the most vulnerable people in our communities. We are ready to welcome new members to our team, ensuring that everyone receives the support and training to be able to make a difference.

We’re looking for bright, hardworking people to join our established services in Dartford, Gravesham, Swanley. It’s a great opportunity to support adults who need extra help for all sorts of reasons to navigate their way through health, social care and community services; and think about what will best improve their health and wellbeing, and make it happen.

Navigators bring their own experience to the role. You might have worked in a formal setting, completing assessments and support plans, or directly providing social care or health services.
Perhaps you have worked or volunteered in a community setting, or are looking to give something back to your own local community. Or maybe you have personal experience of accessing services for yourself, a relative or friend.

It’s a really varied role, and you’ll spend time visiting people in their own homes or in community settings, speaking to individuals and families. You’ll get to know local services, build networks and work in partnership with other agencies. There are also opportunities to work alongside colleagues in a friendly team so you will feel fully supported in the role.

It’s time to make a change.

Part time vacancy available in Dartford/Gravesham/Swanley. Car driver essential.
