We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to work in our Victims of Slavery Support Services team.
Scope of the Role:


The scope of this role is to provide an overall professional administration support service as part of the Victims of Slavery Support Services team. The post-holder will be required to adopt a pro-active approach towards improving local administrative and financial processes in line with any updated requirements as determined by the VSSS Team Manager and Deputy Director of National Operations. There is a requirement that the post-holder will support the team with their day-to-day work in the provision of client support and will re-prioritise their own work as necessary.

The post-holder will work consistently to ensure the continuous development of Victims of Slavery Support Services administrative function; he/she will ensure that administrative processes, procedures and customer care are efficient, professional and consistent at all times. The post holder is expected to contribute to the overall success of the Organisation in accordance with Migrant Help's aims and objectives at all times.



Essential Criteria (Skills & Experience):

A minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in an Administrative capacity, particularly with budgets, accounting, invoicing and other financial processes
Good general level of education
Good clear written and spoken English
Demonstrable organisational skills
Ability to deal with deadlines and conflicting priorities
Previous experience providing support in a team environment
Excellent Customer Care Skills with meticulous attention to detail
Proven ability to prioritise and work on your own initiative whilst respecting professional boundaries
A positive/can do attitude
Numerate with the ability to compile reports
Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, including well developed letter writing, minute-taking and form completion
Excellent computer skills, particularly MS Office applications
Accreditation to OISC level 1 (training will be provided)


Desirable Criteria:

Experience of working in the voluntary sector
Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment
European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL).
