About the role

The position is for a Warehouse Manager role within Vital Parts Ltd.

Reporting to the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager you will create the right culture and foundations to scale quickly ensuring continuous improvement against agreed performance metrics. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing and developing the warehouse team, aiming to delight our customers. This is a hands-on role leading by example as well as ensuring that all team members receive the support that they require. You will be a key figure helping to ensure that the company continues to excel in service delivery during our ambitious growth plans into the future. You will be conscientious, taking pride in the performance of their team and have high initiative in problem solving.

Duties will include

Leading, inspiring and supporting the development of the warehouse team.
Driving continual improvement against the team and organisational performance measures.
Implementing process improvements to support continued growth and improve efficiencies.
Supporting all Managers particularly when urgent responses are needed for customers.
Ensuring that health and safety is a priority at all times.
Managing workflow to exceed expected throughput and accuracy.
Ensuring customers receive the highest quality of service delivery.
Being part of a fast-paced and energetic team

What you need

3+ years warehouse experience
Demonstrates enthusiasm and passion about making a difference for customers
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Shows pride in supporting and developing team members
Ability to build successful working relationships
Project management and PC skills
Shows self-motivation and a positive attitude
Strong team player, working effectively in a team based environment
