The Diocese of Canterbury is seeking to appoint an experienced professional to join our Safeguarding team as Safeguarding Trainer.  The successful applicant will assist us to promote a safe church by continuing to develop our well-established training curriculum and to deliver this training throughout the Diocese and Canterbury Cathedral.

If you

Have professional experience of safeguarding in the voluntary or statutory sector
Are experienced in delivering training packages and ensuring that they are of high quality and up to date standard in terms of legislation, policy and research
Are educated to degree level or equivalent
Are highly organised, able to work to deadlines and be resilient in a challenging environment

The role of the Safeguarding Trainer is to ensure that our training is of high quality, relevant and consistent to have the maximum impact on practice.

Salary: Grade 7 circa £30,197 p.a.

Hours: Part Time 21 hours per week

The post will be subject to safer recruitment processes including an enhanced DBS check.
