Our client is a Top 10 Firm based in North Kent/South East London and they are looking to appoint a Tax Senior with experience of personal tax. This role requires a qualified CTA tax accountant who is skilled and well versed in compliance, to manage a varied portfolio. You will be able to demonstrate previous experience of working to support a variety of clients and want to work for a progressive firm who offer development opportunities and the ability of working within a leading tax team.

The Role:
You will support a varied portfolio and you will be working with the Manager/Partner in a team to provide key services to your client base, supporting the delivery of their tax advice, compliance and planning services and other specialist assignments to scope and budget. You will keep clients up to date with compliance and legislative changes, helping them in the assessment of the impact of such changes and advising them on solutions. You will undertake regular reviews of tax returns and computations, ensuring efficiencies and management of risk is delivered effectively following procedures. You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio providing a mixture of compliance and advisory support for a very varied client base.

You will provide planning and advisory support around Capital Gains Tax, Income Tax, Inheritance Tax, Trusts and Estates as well as Overseas Taxation and also tax compliance. Working within the team you will develop and grow their offering, you will support in planning and delivery, building relationships and co-ordinating work schedules. You will be working with sole traders, HNWI and limited companies with a broad range of turnovers.

You will be responsible for a number of client relationships, supporting them on a variety of compliance matters. You will be their principle point of contact, working closely with them to understand business developments, ensuring they are up to date with their compliance obligations and legislative changes, helping them assess the impact for them and keeping abreast of new opportunities.

It is essential that you hold a professional qualification and have experience in a similar role, be proactive in your approach and be focused on delivering a professional and client focused service.
Further career development and support will be offered. It is essential that that you are ATT qualified, ideally CTA qualified or studying or desire to study towards your CTA. Further study support will be given.
