Full time / Part time Class 1 / Class 2 Drivers urgently required for Supermarket deliveries.


Venrec are urgently seeking PAYE drivers Class 1 and Class 2 to work on a permanent or temporary basis at our Client based in Snodland. This work involves deliveries from the Regional Distribution centre to shops primarily in Kent, Sussex and Surrey plus the outer fringes of London’s south east corner.


For Class 1 drivers we are seeking AM,PM and Night drivers to work any patterns of your choice. There is a constant demand for both mid week and weekends and any pattern of availability from full time to part time to ad hoc will be acceptable. The positions are subject to induction and assessment but these can be readily arranged with shifts starting the next day. Start times and patterns are almost entirely at your discretion. Deliveries tend to be singular stores but can occasionally involve more than one store.


For Class 2 drivers we are seeking AM and early PM drivers only, there is also a heavy use at weekends which may suit part time if that is your requirement, however regular patterns of your choosing can be arranged. Deliveries usually involve two or three stores and there can be two runs a day dependant on delivery area.


The pay rates on PAYE are as follows from April 4th:


- Class 1 days £12.75 Monday to Friday Class 2 £11.00 (Days - Monday to Friday)

- Class 1 nights £14.00 Monday to Friday Class 2 £12.50 (Nights - Monday to Friday)

- Class 1 Saturday hours £15.50 Class 2 £14.00 (Saturday hours)

- Class 1 Sunday hours £16.25 Class 2 £14.50 (Sunday hours)


All of these rates also attract in addition 12.07% in Holiday pay.


Our client operates a standard PAYE payroll service and do NOT offer Umbrella payroll services.
