Saw Operative

Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Saw Operative for our client based in the Maidstone area. This is a full time role for the successful candidate.

Salary - £19760

Working Times:
Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm
Friday 6:00 - 12:00

Duties Include:
* Set up and operate saw ensuring that outputs / standards are met, in a safe manner at all times.
* Ensuring the material always meets quality specifications and raise issues accordingly with Team Leader, Make cost-effective cutting decisions.
* Ensure that the work area is safe, clean and organised at all times, including ensuring that equipment is safe to operate.

Knowledge and Experience:

* Work in a safe manner at all times, complying with Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
* Previous manufacturing or saw operating experience.
* Ability to use machinery and saw in a safe manner.
* Attention to detail and ability to measure accurately in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable and committed.
* Flexible and willing to undertake roles as trained/requested and willing to work 2-shift where required.
