Do you have experience, knowledge and an understanding of marketing and recruitment?

In this position you will play an important role in helping to maximise the number of applications to the Division and subsequent conversion activity, and in raising the overall profile of the Division across the University and beyond. You will work closely with other teams across the Division and the University to support the Marketing, Recruitment & Engagement Manager in ensuring that activity is aligned with Divisional strategy and follows University guidelines.

As a Marketing and Recruitment Officer you will:

Contribute to ensuring that effective recruitment and marketing procedures are in place in the division, which serve to maximise all International UK, EU and International recruitment activity
Coordinate recruitment information for inclusion in undergraduate and postgraduate prospectuses and other recruitment and marketing materials, both on and off line
Manage the Division’s external listings, with the aim of encouraging and increasing student applications and promoting brand awareness to achieve recruitment targets
Oversee the coordination of a wide range of internal and external activities to promote and raise the profile of the Division, both within and beyond the University
To be successful in this role you will have/be:

Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of marketing and recruitment ideally gained in the Higher Education sector
Experience of managing/supervising an effective marketing and/or recruitment team, generating ideas in for campaigns
Strong judgement and initiative with the ability to effectively interpret and apply policies and procedures
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail and ability to prioritise work (self and others) to ensure key deliverables are achieved on time and to required standards
