TRAINEE PRODUCT DEVELOPER

Based in Bromley, Kent with 2-3 days WFH

Salary to £21,000

RECENT SCHOOL COLLEGE or UNIVERSITY LEAVERS WOULD BE RECOMMENDED TO APPLY

The role requires an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work within the product development team to assist in supporting and delivering new products, amendments to existing products and general bug fixes as and when required.

A successful candidate will need a mix of hard skills including a strong skillset in Excel formulae, as well as soft skills such as communication, analytical thinking and problem-solving.

A solutions-based mentality is required.



Key Responsibilities:

* Build new products to the agreed specification document
* Make the relevant product changes to the agreed change request requirements
* Make ad-hoc bug fixes to products as directed
* Add new sites as requested with the relevant branding, making changes as required
* Add and maintain Agent Groups and Users
* Liaise with various stake holders including Underwriters, Project Managers and other parties
* Effectively capture, understand, define and document business requirements
* Report bugs and follow these through to delivery into the production system
* Liaise internally to support design and sign off potential new functionalities
* Implement and configure solution
* Support the UAT process of configuration and of new functionalities
* Train Clients / Partners to successfully hand over new products
* Assist the business with product demonstrations as requested
* Produce documentation to support new products / changes
* Take a hands-on approach to trouble shooting
* To complete ad hoc tasks as requested
* To maintain a minimum 15 hours a Year Continuing Professional Development
