Syndicate Reinsurance Technician



* WFH & City hybrid working
* To £40,000 + benefits

To adopt a proactive approach to the recovery of reinsurance claims and payment of premiums pertaining to the Syndicates reinsurance protection programmes, both proportional & non-proportional treaty.



Ensure that recoveries are allocated to the correct policy and claims are processed in a timely manner. Work with brokers and reinsurers to resolve any queries and ensure the validation and progress of recoveries. Assist the R/I credit control department in regards of claims recoveries, collate recovery statistics and assist with the quarterly reporting requirements.



Assist in the calculation of premium adjustments and verify and process premium payments.

Attend internal and external meetings.



Requirements

* Relevant London Market / Syndicate reinsurance experience.
* Use of LORS
* Good data analytical and reporting skills
* An effective communicator and team orientated
* Good problem solving and results orientated
* Able to prioritise workload
