HR and Volunteering Administrator
Up to £21,422 pa dependent on experience
Kent Wildlife Trust
Job Title: HR and Volunteering Administrator
Job Type: (Full time, although part time/job share may be considered for the right candidate)
Closing Date: Tuesday 26th July 2022
Interview Date: Wednesday 10th August 2022
Salary Range: Up to £21,422 pa depending on experience.
Location: Kent, we have an agile working policy where staff can work from home, office or other agreed remote location, but location of employment will be the individual’s nearest Kent hub.
Globally and nationally wildlife is in steep decline. We appear to be reaching critical tipping points around the loss of biodiversity as well as around climate change, both being interlinked. Human society cannot prosper without wildlife and healthy ecosystems.
Kent’s wildlife needs to be restored to much higher levels. We can no longer allow common things to become rare. We can only do this by restoring large-scale habitat from degraded land. Doing this will contribute to solving global problems. But we won’t be able to do this unless we publicly aspire to a higher level of impact and show that we can deliver this.
In this crucial new role, you will be supporting the People function in providing an efficient and high quality HR and volunteering administrative support service to enable the Trust to recruit and retain motivated, high performing people who are delivering our Wilder Kent vision.
We are a flexible employer that aims to be one of the best employers in the environment sector in the southeast and we are looking for someone with the dedication and positivity to help us make this happen.
As an experienced administrator, you will have an interest in developing and growing the role and your own skills, with a drive for continuous improvement. You may already have worked in a similar type of role, but more important is your positive and enthusiastic approach, your strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
In return, we can provide a supportive culture and flexible working, which includes homeworking and flexible hours, and for the right candidate we may be able to offer part time/job share.
Kent Wildlife Trust is the leading wildlife charity for Kent and Medway, supported by its members and staffed by committed professionals. We are all working to protect wildlife and to find better ways to run an efficient and effective organisation.
