Finance Analyst, Full Time, Hybrid (Two days in the office)

My client currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Account to join their vibrant accounting team. The UK/Ireland Geography operates through different legal entities and you'll support the Technical Accounting team in managing the revenue and technical accounting of 6 different entities, 2 based in the UK, 3 based in Ireland, 1 based in Belgium and approximately 300 different contracts.

You will work with the business and ensure revenue is booked accurately, including estimating and confirming the revenue, calculation of commission, and gross margin, reinsurance accounting including preparation of clients' statements and booking journals, assist with new contracts implementation and provide finance information to the on boarding team, ensure the balance sheet reconciliations are accurately and regularly prepared, establish good relationship with the group finance team and assist with quarterly local accounts consolidating into the parent entity, assist with budget and forecast process, including updating the templates, collecting information from variance departments, and produce variance analysis and support ad-hoc projects.

You will be an experience in insurance and reinsurance accounting, part Qualified Accountant or Qualified by experience, excellent interpersonal and team working skills with a helpful, flexible, pro-active and solution oriented approach / someone with a positive approach and Ability to work quickly and efficiently, with the ability to engage and inspire others, evidence of being able to work successfully in a fast moving and international environment, someone eager to progress and develop within a supportive environment, experienced with PeopleSoft system and French speaking is desirable but not essential.
