Your new role
The role is for a Carpenter/ Locksmith for the undertaking of planned maintenance of all woodwork items throughout the prison, including locks, doors and windows. Undertaking planned Maintenance of locks in accordance with locking policy.
Installation of structures and fixtures, suck as windows.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a positive and "can-do" attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This role will require you to have achieved industry recognised qualifications, having completed a Formal Apprenticeship or Craft Equivalent and with experience or have come from a City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry. Substantial experience in a similar role can be considered as an alternative to formal qualifications.
