Commercial Lines Trading Underwriter - Open Market

Salary - Open, depending on your skill set and expertise

Location - City of London & Home based hybrid working flexibility



An exciting opportunity to join an innovative insurance company with over 35 years of experience underwriting commercial risks in the UK SME marketplace.



In this role you will build dynamic relationships with an established network of broker partners and develop relationships with new brokers.



The role will encompass full portfolio management services for new business propositions, renewal negotiations and any mid term adjustments.



With a large degree of autonomy and the responsibility to effectively manage broker partner relationships this role will suit an underwriter with 5 years + experience in the UK SME marketplace who possesses strong broker service skills.



Progress towards CII qualifications and a university degree are preferred but the real priorities are relevant underwriting experience, a desire to build a profitable book and a proven track record of broker relationship development skills.
