£23k - £26k based on experience

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm

Overview:

An exciting opportunity to join a leading company in sales, marketing and distribution of specialty chemicals, cleaning, beauty and food ingredients.

You will join as their Office Administrator providing administrative support to the team as well as general office duties.

Responsibilities:

* Receive and process orders via telephone, email and other medias
* Prepare quotes in line with guide pricing
* Handle all queries regarding orders placed or due to be placed
* Ensure that orders arrive on time and advise of any potential delays
* Provide a high level of support to the Account Managers to ensure the company delivers the optimum level of customer service
* Investigate and resolve any invoice queries and liaise with accounts to ensure that no invoices are awaiting authorisation / payment
* Work flexibly to provide holiday cover with other Sales/Supply Service Representatives





The Candidate:

* IT skills- we will happily train you on Salesforce, but we would like you to have a good understanding of word and excel and be comfortable producing emails and letters
* Administration experience- this would be useful to have, although not essential
* A can-do attitude- our values are COLOURFUL. AMBITIOUS. You will go a long way if you use your initiative and common sense, and are happy to roll your sleeves up and support the wider team
* GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English grade C or higher
* Being highly numerate- within sales it is all about numbers be it giving quotes, placing orders, preparing reports or working with spreadsheets. Being able to spot discrepancies, working with percentages and in general be comfortable working with numbers. We will ask you undertake a brief maths/numeracy quiz at interview stage
* Proactive and flexible attitude, willing to learn and assist across the team
* Excellent organisational skills
* Good Telephone Manner
* Quick to Learn
* Excellent People Skills
* High level of attention to detail and focus
