Finance Manager | 50-60k | Kent - Medway

Our client, a successful and acquisitive Group, are looking to appoint a driven and pro-active Finance Manager to join their Kent based finance team in an exciting and varied role. Reporting into the CFO, this opportunity will support the management of all financial aspects of the Group, and its proposed expansion, including the development of enhanced reporting and KPIs.

There will be the opportunity for the Finance Manager to get involved in due diligence on acquisitions, engagement with advisors and private equity owners, refinance of the Group, and implementation of robust processes and controls across the Group companies.

This role is office based with on site parking but does offer flexibility.

Key areas of focus:
• Co-ordination of Group Financial planning, Budgeting and forecasting
• Developing KPI dashboards and analytics
• Integration of acquisitions into the broader finance structure
• Interrogation of the monthly submissions by the local finance teams
• Support in the collation of the local monthly board packs
• Collation and analysis of month-end accounts for the holding company
• Preparation of the Group consolidated accounts
• Support in the preparation and co-ordination of Group audit & statutory accounts
• Group Regulatory returns and Group entity tax
• Group Cashflow & Working capital management
• Identifying areas for development within financial reporting across the Group
• Evaluating cost consolidation / efficiency opportunities for the Group
• Modelling, analysis, and data collation
• Maintaining the Groups finance model
• Liaison with external advisors and Banks
• Integration of new subsidiaries into the Groups financial reporting structure

Candidate Profile:
• Candidates will be qualified or close to qualifying, although exceptional candidates qualified by experience will be considered
• Strong systems skills and advanced Excel
• Multi-site or business services background would be advantageous but is not essential
• Pro-active and inquisitive approach, with strong team working skills
• Ability to work with high volumes of data and meet deadlines
