Y2 Maternity Cover - Dartford
Main Pay scale up to M6 – Full-time – Immanent start till July 2023

Supply Desk are working with a Primary school in Dartford, recruiting for a Primary teacher to cover a Year 2 maternity contract from after February half-term till the end of July.

The School

The school is based in Ebbsfleet, Kent. They are a newly formed school and opened in September 2020. Now in their third year of opening and have two forms of entry for nursery, reception and year 1 and one form of entry for year 2, year 3 and year 4. They will continue to grow year-by-year, eventually to a two-form entry school. This academic year, their Specialist Resource Provision for children with Autism opened and they have children ranging from reception to year 3 accessing this provision.

They take pride in their creative and entrepreneurial curriculum as it not only engages children, but challenges them to develop the skills - as well as the knowledge - befitting of the twenty-first century. They will give all children an exciting, innovative educational excellence to support them to become the best they can be. They know their children will leave our school ready for the next stage of learning.

The school is situated in Ebbsfleet, just outside Dartford off the A2 and as they are a new school, have not been inspected by OFSTED. They are easily accessible via car and public transport.

The Role
• Teaching the Primary UK Year 2 curriculum
• Planning and Marking responsibilities
• Attending staff meetings, parent’s evenings and inset days


The Ideal Candidate
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Must have previous experience teaching UK Primary curriculum,
• Experience teaching KS1 is welcome
• Previous experience with subject responsibility is highly desirable but not essential
• Must be DBS checked (Enhanced DBS preferable)
