Assistant Financial Accountant| Swale/Hybrid| £25k - £30k

Our client who is working within the construction type industry is looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their busy team in the Swale area. This role offers Hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 from home. You will work a 37.5 hour week.

The purpose of this role is to support the finance function with the following:-
• Cash book management
• Asset register maintenance
• Accruals & prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations and resulting investigations
• VAT returns
• Bank/Sales ledger reconciliations

You will be required to have
• Ideally you will be AAT qualified or studying towards an accounting qualification
• Experience working within a Financial Accounting focussed position
• Good Excel skills including pivot tables, vlookups, sumif statements.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to meet fixed deadlines whilst maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
