You will become part of a professional team working on site to deliver high quality flats and housing for local communities.

Your new role
An experienced Finishing Manager to join the on site team and oversee finishing trades and operations on site, and reporting into a site based experienced project manager. The site is a mix of new build modular housing and a 3 storey block of modular flats.
responsibilities -

* You will be supporting the Site Manager in managing all site resources including labour, plant and materials as well as on-site health and safety and client customer service.
* Under the guidance of the Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing sub-contractors by giving them clear direction and clarifying expectations in all aspects of site delivery.
* You will ensure that Health and Safety standards are maintained through a constant checking process
* You must appreciate the importance of excellent customer satisfaction and resolving customer service issues.

What you'll need to succeed

* Experience working on new build housing sites in a similar role, with a good eye for detail
* You will have a good understanding of the construction process with the ability to work at heights, and ideally hold valid SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates.
* Competency in Scaffold Awareness, Traffic Management and Lifting Ops is desirable, although training can be provided.
* Ability to work will with sub-contractors and to encourage the team to meet targets and deadlines. Communication skills important to ensure that the necessary teams are kept up to date with any changes on the site.
* Flag issues with the Management Team,
* Manage site documentation where necessary
* Oversee the day to day safe logistics of the works with special attention to People and Machinery
* Computer literacy
