Nursery Teaching assistant needed in Hythe long term role

This is an Ofsted rated "Good" school within the Hythe area. It is a primary school based in Hythe who are currently looking for TA for a 2 week role after Easter


Your new role
From Easter the school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in their Nursery, providing care for their children. Working under the supervision of Nursery Nurses, you will provide a safe and supportive setting for children to develop their social and educational skills.

Duties include:

* Supervising fun and educational activities
* Helping children learn numeracy and literacy
* Feeding and changing
* Managing daily schedules which include quiet time and toilet breaks

This job is to start 17th April 2023 until 28th July

What you'll need to succeed

* Relevant EYFS qualification needed to work in Nursery
* Experience working with 0-5 year olds for at least 30 days in the last 2 years (this doesn't have to be in a school setting, and can be voluntary)
* Caring, nurturing attitude towards children
* Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
* Strong observation and listening skills
