Assistant Asset Surveyor Wanted in Surrey

A social housing provider based in Surrey who own or manage more than 7,000 homes and are committed to investing in homes and neighbourhoods to develop local communities where people want to live.

Your new role


* Responsibility for Stock Condition Surveys, estate inspections and any other surveying requirements that may be required.
* Provide support to the Asset Management team.
* To undertake surveys of the housing stock and associated assets to ascertain the condition of each individual property and remaining life of key building elements
* To evaluate the energy efficiency rating of every property.
* Update the database in relation to asbestos, legionella, gas safety and fire safety, as well as disrepair, insurance claims, Health & Safety, Fire Management and Environmental Health Notices.
* To deal effectively with customers and promote high customer service standards, working effectively with the customer service team as required.

What you'll need to succeed


* Building Surveying or similar qualification.
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with others, taking account of customer service principles and concepts.
* The ability to effectively manage own workload and keep to appointments with customers.
