Michelson Diagnostics Ltd is a dynamic, rapidly growing company which manufacturers unique medical imaging technology for diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. Our VivoSight scanner has been launched in USA and Germany and is gaining much interest from leading dermatologists, who see its huge potential to help them assess skin lesions as an alternative to taking skin biopsies.

We require an ambitious, motivated, enthusiastic computer science engineer with a practical aptitude, to support after-sales technical support.

The successful candidate will:
• Have excellent problem solving skills.
• Have a self-driven desire to learn and gain knowledge.
• Have a strong knowledge of Windows 10, including the skills required to diagnose and repair any potential issues.
• Be confident writing and using batch, Powershell and SQL scripts. Python could be useful, but it is not currently used.
• Have experience maintaining IT infrastructure including IT networks and data security.
• Have a clean driving licence.

Job Description
The Engineering Support Technician will be responsible for the servicing, commissioning & repair of the company’s OCT scanners within an ISO13485 (medical) quality controlled environment.

Duties will include:
• Delivering on-site and remote support to our customers, including:
o Commissioning
o Post sales support
o Planned maintenance
o Troubleshooting based on a strong knowledge of the device
o Repair of devices that have failed in the field
o Dealing with distributor & agents in servicing & repairs
• Maintaining IT infrastructure
• Development testing to support Engineering and Support Manager
• International travel for delivery and installation of VivoSight scanners
