We’re looking for someone to join our navigation team in Dartford supporting adult patients and people in the community to live safer, healthier and more independent lives.

You will need to be confident talking to people about their lives and be able to explain the benefits of simple technology and how to use it. The solutions you provide will help people feel more comfortable and confident in their own homes.

Everyday technology can give people greater choice and control over aspects of their care and daily life, and you will identify and recommend kit to achieve this. Something as simple as a smart doorbell, mobile phone app, door sensor or falls detector can make a significant difference.

1 x hospital-based Dartford

The team works with partners and other services in hospitals and the community, so there will be opportunities to share ideas and innovations.
Applicants should have professional or personal experience of providing health and social care support. You will need to be confident using or learning new technology and sharing this with others… maybe you’re the person your family and friends turn to about how to use a new mobile phone, smart speaker, tablet, TV remote, etc.

This is a 6-month fixed term post on an exciting pilot project with the potential for extension or to take up other internal opportunities. There are opportunities to work alongside colleagues in a friendly team so you will feel fully supported in the role. Car driver essential.
