The Position itself:

The role of Demand Planner is required to assist the commercial team to develop sales forecasts for all company products.
To maintain the Manugistics forecasting system with all the date necessary to support the entry and storage of forecasts and to produce accurate KPI’s.
To improve demand forecast accuracy.
To work collaboratively through facilitating and strengthening sales and operational planning process.
To support on Service Supply/Inventory and Capacity Investment decisions through comprehensive analytics to enable decision making on future business needs
To share best practice within the Demand Planning team for reapplication in other geographies.


The successful candidate will ideally have:

BA/BS in any field or related supply chain management shipping warehousing and inventory skills

2 years plus demand planning experience

Previous experience gained working in a forecasting environment particularly with SAP and JDA in the past would be considered an advantage

Excellent interpersonal skills both oral and written

Well organised, detail orientated and able to handle multiple priorities and high volumes of data in a fast paced and team orientated environment.

The ability to adhere to deadlines

An ability to analyse date and determine opportunities for continuous improvement
Advanced user of Excel
