My client is seeking a Finance Manager to lead a team of three within a prestigious local organisation.

You will be responsible for overseeing the team and driving the management accounting function, as well as delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both finance and non-finance professionals.

Responsibilities:

- Lead on the management accounting requirement, ensuring accurate and timely financial information
- Refine financial policies, procedures and controls to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices
- Prepare and present a range of financial reporting, budgets and forecasts to senior management
- Manage the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial targets and monitor performance against them
- Ensure statutory accounting compliance, liaising with external auditors and external bodies as required
- Oversee the work of the team, ensuring the transactional accounting requirements are maintained

ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA qualified candidates are sought, with proven experience in a similar role, with a sound understanding of management accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards. You`ll have the ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, unravelling the complexities of finance for non finance staff.
