Our client is looking for a dynamic and ambitious reinsurance broker who is seeking the opportunity to take the NEXT STEP in their career by progress into producing business, acquiring new clients and building a revenue pipeline.



* Placing Broker / Producer



Overview

The division place and service global facultative and treaty reinsurance contracts into the Lloyds and overseas markets. Classes of non-marine risks include property, casualty, construction and specialty.

You will work directly with cedants, TP brokers and colleagues in overseas offices to provide a comprehensive broking service. With guidance and support you will be encouraged to identify potential new clients, develop new relationships, exploit new business pipelines and progress to become a business producer / executive.

In addition, you will lead negotiations with markets and seek to develop underwriter relationships.

This role will suit a London Market placing broker with an understanding of both fac and treaty reinsurance, although a stronger bias towards either is acceptable.

Experience managing client relationships is ideal, but the critical requirement is that applicants have a desire to become a producing broker. You are not expected to bring any business with you.
