Do you have QA or Inspector experience within Manufacturing?
Our market leading manufacturing client are looking for an experienced Goods in Inspector to join their team. As a Goods in Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of incoming goods within the manufacturing facility. You will work closely with the procurement and warehouse teams to inspect and verify incoming components, materials, and equipment. Your attention to detail, knowledge of quality control processes, and commitment to maintaining high standards will be essential in this role.

Duties include:
• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming goods, including components, materials, and equipment, to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Verify quantity, quality, and accuracy of deliveries against purchase orders, invoices, and other documentation.
• Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests as required to assess product quality.
• Identify and document any defects, discrepancies, or non-conformances and take appropriate action, such as quarantine or rejection of non-compliant items.
• Communicate inspection results and collaborate with the procurement team to resolve any quality-related issues with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and any quality-related documentation.
• Follow established procedures and protocols for goods inspection and quality control.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as production and engineering, to provide feedback and suggestions for product improvement.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organised goods-in area.
• Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have / be:
• Proven experience in a similar role, within a manufacturing or engineering environment involving the assembly of mechanical and electrical products.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, processes, and inspection techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and document defects accurately.
• Strong organisational and time management skills to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software for documentation and record keeping.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with various teams and suppliers.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
