HR Advisor - Dover (maternity cover contract 12 months)

We're delighted to be partnering with a prestigious company who is going through significant cultural change, in the recruitment of an HR Advisor on a fixed term contract of 12 months. This is a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday, and commands a salary of £37,000 per annum, with benefits to include:

As an HR Advisor, you will work as part of the HR team to deliver the people agenda across the group. You will be vital in developing relationships and engage with key stakeholders on employment, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, employment relations, projects and advising on policy and programme initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

* CIPD Qualification Level 5 (minimum)
* Minimum of 2 years' experience within an HR advisory capacity
* Experience in handling confidential information/material and a good understanding of the importance of confidentiality in the work of a HR department
* Demonstrate a good understanding of Employment Law and up to date knowledge of HR best practice
* Experience of working with HR computerised systems to include producing reports
* Excellent verbal and written communication, including active listening
* Apply a logical and analytical approach to problem solving.
* Evaluate and produce business metrics and determine ways to improve results
* Comprehensive understanding of employment law, including inclusion and diversity programmes
