We have a great opportunity for a HR Manager to join an educational setting on a contract basis for maternity cover.
For this role you will be covering all aspects of HR and their processes and procedures, from recruitment, retention, compliance to performance management and training/development.
You will be experienced in the field, if you hold a CIPD Level 5 - please apply!
Responsibilities include
* Complete pre-employment checks; DBS, references, permits and health-care checks
* Review all processes and policies to ensure the organisation is fully compliant
* Oversee internal and external recruitment and selection processes; draft adverts, job descriptions, reviewing/adjusting offer letters and contracts
* Ensure all employee records and up to date
* Develop induction packs
* Conduct exit interviews
* Produce annual salary letters
* Monitor Performance Management reviews
* Reporting and monitoring staff absences
* Offer advice and support to all staff members and Line Managers
Skills required
* CIPD Level 5 minimum
* Use of HR systems
* Strong reporting, data entry and Microsoft Office skills
* Highly organised
* Use initiative
* Confident on building relationships and clear communicator
* Works well independently and as a team player
