I'm working with a Surrey-based Architectural Practice in Epsom who are known for delivering high quality professional design services through all the RIBA Work Stages. All designs are prepared in either 2D CAD, 3D BIM or an appropriate design software package. Projects include education, healthcare, commercial. Research, and hotels, sports and leisure. They are looking for a talented, self-motivated staff to work on a number of exciting New Build and Refurbishment projects in a friendly and collaborative environment.
Your new role

* Collate technical information
* Produce all information necessary to submit applications to all relevant statutory authorities
* Liaise with Clients
* Work with the Contractor for Design & Build projects
* Prepare and present detailed design proposals
* Prepare specifications for construction work
* Prepare drawings, plans and documents for statutory approvals
* Attend Design Team Meetings and Co-ordination meetings
* Contribute to design-stage risk assessments

What you'll need to succeed
Sound knowledge and experience of UK Building Regulations and other statutory requirements. Experience of BREEAM/SKA would be useful. Excellent design and graphic skills and able to communicate these through the use of AutoCAD and BIM (Revit). Candidates should be confident and be able to interact within a team environment. RIBA or CIAT technologist qualification and minimum two years' experience required.
