Job Description: To support the delivery of projects funded by the Kent & Medway Cancer Alliance to support early cancer screening uptake in communities across Kent. The post holder will engage with communities and their trusted intermediaries, organising events and focus groups to gather and deliver information and identify gaps in, and barriers to, service provision.

Length of contract: 12 month fixed term.
Hours of Work: We have two positions one is 37.5 hours per week and the other is 20 hours per week.
Location: This are field-based roles, across Kent, with the office base in Folkestone and/or Margate.
Salary: £25,000 for 37.5 hours per week, and £13,333 for 20 hours per week.

Main duties.
Supporting individuals
• Identifying and securing venues for engagement events to happen through the year.
• Identifying key stakeholders and proactively managing relationships to achieve project outcomes.
• Development of data collection questionnaires to include demographic data, awareness of screening, and the signs and symptoms of
cancer before and after any interventions.
• Develop a programme of pop-up clinics to capture information from target groups and raise awareness of the importance of early
screening.
• Collation of management information including budget and KPI data and reporting to funders.
• Attend meetings as appropriate
Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting
• Using data to identify key areas of health inequalities e.g., deprivation, demographic information.
• Ensure all paperwork, reporting, outputs and outcomes are met as part of these projects, whilst ensuring an excellent attention to detail
• Support with the provision of management information and KPIs on the project
• Produce and submit reports in the agreed format and in accordance with agreed timetables using both qualitative and quantitative data.
• Actively contribute content to social media and for the wider marketing function (eg. Case studies and reports, etc)
External Partners and Communication
• Maintain effective relationships with Health and Social Care professionals, Information, Advice and Guidance Services, support services, stakeholders, and partners
• Recognise people’s needs for different methods of communication and respond accordingly
