My client is a global leader in their field and manufacturing sector. The role is on a 6-month contract basis and working within a small finance department. The successful candidate will have responsibility for accurately updating stock records and carrying out detailed analysis required in monthly stock valuations. You will also assist in the preparation of schedules required for monthly management accounts and Board level packs. This role will report directly into the Financial Controller.
Your new role:
-Analysis of inventory records to accurately value stock
-Assist with the preparation of monthly Management Accounts & Board level packs
-Provide Sales Ledger & Purchase Ledger cover as required
What you`ll need to succeed
-Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ACMA) or QBE
-A ``hands on`` attitude
-Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial working environment
-Strong Excel skills - including V/XLOOKUPs, SUMIFs & pivot tables
-Robust stock accounting experience
-Experience with manufacturing would be an advantage
