Established for over 30 years with 70 staff, a £10m turnover and strong balance sheet, the company’s facilities include two data centres, a disaster recovery suite, a network operations centre, all located in a highly secure twenty-five acre science park campus in Kent. Sota has a record of sustained growth and is currently experiencing further expansion.

This is an exciting 6 month contract (possible temp to perm) for a HR professional with solid experience in an internal facing HR or Talent Management role.

As a HR Officer you will solely take charge of all Human Resources related tasks, closely supported by the Finance Director and you will work based out of Sittingbourne offices with the possibility of some remote working.

To be considered for this opportunity you must possess:
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
 Strong knowledge of employment law
 A can-do attitude and be well organised
 A calm and patient manner, ability to show empathy but be professional and firm
 Previous relevant experience (5+ years) in a HR or Talent Management role

Desirable qualifications / experience:
 Recognised qualification e.g. CIPD
 Payroll processing experience
 Internal recruitment experience
 Some cross-over of finance experience in a previous role

Additionally:
 Candidates must possess a driving licence and have access to their own vehicle
 Will be expected to pass basic disclosure DBS and sign a confidentiality agreement given the sensitive nature of information the candidate will be exposed to
 Satisfactory references and right to work in the UK
