Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Kent

Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (flexible hours available)

Our well-established client has been operating successfully for over 50 years and is now looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join them.



Key Duties:

Prepare full enquiry pack, collating all tender information, ensuring fully compliant tender packs are issued

Compile and review health and safety documentation

With assistance prepare detailed breakdown of build cost included within land acquisition pack

Issue and manage subcontract orders

Ensure SMAS approval and pre-qualification for new contractors

Conduct monthly progress checks and value site works

Prepare sub-contract accruals and Value/Cost Reconciliation

Assist with budget estimates

Attend sites in Kent regularly and frequently to provide assistance and support to site staff.



What is expected of you

Full UK driving license

Strong interpersonal and IT skills

Self-motivated, organised, and resilient

Analytical, numerate, with basic Quantity Surveying principles

Knowledgeable in housing development processes
