We are recruiting for a supply chain & technical administrator to join our client, based in Sittingbourne.
Principle purpose of position:
The Supply Chain and Technical Administrator will be responsible for the administration duties of the Technical and Supply Chain teams. The Administrator must be able to liaise with the internal operations and sales teams and customers in a professional manner and be excellent in organisation, communication, and efficiency skills. The Administrator works alongside many departments and therefore possesses understanding of the pressures on each department and be able to ensure their constraints are understood in performing their duties.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Administrative skills
• Excellent organisation skills and be able to manage the expectations of internal and external users.
• A large part of their work involves MS office packages (mainly excel and word) and therefore able to use these packages to an advanced state.
• They must also be able to develop and understand current procedures in place and improve where necessary to respond to the changing needs of the business.
• Must be able to manage their time and be confident in prioritising workload which will involve liaising with staff where their demands cannot be met.
Supply Chain – Key tasks and objectives:
• Goods receipt milk and any other overnight deliveries
• Run sell by dates report to identify any issue lines
• Check Daily delist report for any zero's, check and make redundant if stock now cleared
• Check all reports are cleared down. Stock adjustments (invoice queries) and NA report
• Booking in phone calls/Review and input counts
• Price changes
• Run NA reports throughout the day
Technical – Key tasks and objectives:
• Send daily damage e-mails and update internal damage log
• Raise any potential customer collections paperwork
• Check drivers returns
• Monitor QA inbox for any issues or complaints, log and send initial email to customer
• Review temperature logs
• Follow up any supplier credits
• Liaise with external charity provider to collect surplus products
• Quarterly upload to ERUDUS
