The Role
This is a new and exciting opportunity to work within a heritage organisation that plays a unique role in preserving and sharing history. We are seeking a extremely organised and professional Executive and Governance Assistant to support the Chief Executive, Chairman, and the governance of the Trust and its subsidiaries.
This position is central to the efficient organisation of the Chief Executive and Chairman’s offices. You will manage diaries, prioritise incoming messages, draft correspondence, and prepare key documentation to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
You will also play a vital role as Company Secretary, supporting governance activities, including organising meetings, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring effective administration for the Trust and its subsidiaries. Governance experience in a charity or public body is key to this role.
About You
You will have strong organisational and time management skills. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality are essential for success in this role. A professional and proactive approach to problem-solving and demonstrable confidence in managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
